You should not leave your lenses in overnight unless they are special day and night lenses.. you could seriously damage your eyes.
Technology is changing all the time, so wait until the time comes before setting your heart on lazer surgery.
there may be more knowledge of its long term effects by then!
there certainly will be even newer techniques.
Look for some really cool glasses.

LASIK eye surgery can perform miracles – it can give you relief from wearing corrective lenses. It can cure nearsightedness, astigmatism and farsightedness. The procedure is quick and painless, offering almost immediate results. And due to advances in technology and the wide demand for this type of service, LASIK is quite economical.

In the vast majority of cases, recovery from LASIK eye surgery is quick and uneventful. However, as with most all medical procedures, there are certain risks, but if you take the recommended precautions, you’ll have little to worry about. Complications during recovery from LASIK eye surgery are rare, but they do occur. If you notice anything questionable during your recovery period, be sure to consult with your doctor immediately.

LASIK is a laser based vision correction procedure where your vision can be corrected to such a degree that you no longer need corrective lenses. And the amazing part is that it all happens in just a few minutes!

Think about that – no more glasses or contact lenses. What a relief – never having to hunt for your glasses or fool around with contacts. LASIK eye surgery can put a quick end to all that.
